We are TAIS NextGen, a dynamic community operating within the Tunisian Artificial Intelligence Society (TAIS), dedicated to empowering the next generation of AI talents in Tunisia.

What is our story?

TAIS NextGen was created from a shared realization: Tunisia’s emerging AI talents needed more than individual opportunities — they needed a community.

As interest in Artificial Intelligence rapidly grew across universities and industries, the lack of a unified space for collaboration and exchange became evident.

This vision gave rise to TAIS NextGen, as a youth-driven initiative within the Tunisian Artificial Intelligence Society (TAIS).

From its early days, TAISNextGen focused on bringing people together.

Students, researchers, and professionals from diverse backgrounds joined forces to create an inclusive environment centered on learning, sharing, and collaboration.

Through teamwork and commitment, structured teams were formed to organize events, manage communication, and grow the community sustainably.

As the community expanded, so did its impact.

TAISNextGen began organizing scientific talks, technical workshops, and social events that connected AI enthusiasts across Tunisia.

By collaborating with academic institutions, industry partners, and AI-focused organizations, TAIS NextGen contributed to raising AI awareness and strengthening the national AI ecosystem.

Today, TAIS NextGen continues to evolve with a clear ambition: to empower the next generation of AI leaders.

Looking ahead, we aim to expand our initiatives, deepen partnerships, and create more opportunities for innovation, learning, and collaboration.
